Lots of other sports do birth year. Why is this so hard?

ECNL does not like that the player’s final year of club soccer is a pieced together team of kids who haven’t played together. They also don’t like all the “opt outs” and believe kids would be more likely to continue to play in club if they were playing for their “team”. The change would also make it easier for colleges to scout as the players would all be in the same graduating class. The recruiting argument is probably the most persuasive to me

Doom scrolling on X and "College Football Classics" has posted #5 Boise St vs Tulsa circa 2009. Lost 28-21 on short throw to Charles Clay on 4th and 6. I was at that game.

I am so pissed right now that I remember where we used to be.

They are better than Missouri S and T............

With way too many players entering the transfer portal each spring, even D2 teams end up with former D1 players. That makes playing D2 teams more interesting than in the past.

I sure hope we see a different (much better) TU team tonight. I might have too high of expectations for this year’s team, but I expect to see continued improvement this season.
After that disappointing exhibition game, I will be watching tonight’s game for signs of improvement.

Just made that drive this past weekend. I’ve never made it through Dallas and Waco without issues.
