Youth soccer club

Worse than that, and the real reason he should be fired is his coaching philosophy sucks. The same reason I blasted the Union girls coach for, Rhein is guilty of as well. This team plays like a U13 rec team who has the biggest fastest kid on the field. Kick it long and hopefully they make it to the ball first...except in D1 soccer there is always someone bigger and faster and you will almost certainly play against several of those players. TU cannot hold the ball in the MF to save their lives. At least Tom is trying to play the game the right way...he doesn't always have the right players to do so, but they know the style and they work at playing it.

I 100% agree with this. I watched a couple of their games and was fascinated with how dumb some of the stuff they were doing for a Division 1 team was. You have a weak high school coach coaching a Division 1 team. You have a high school 1990s coach. If you think high school coaching is less than stellar a lot of times. Imagine how it was then.

We need to move one.

Did they vote go to WSA as a team, or just vote to leave? I’ve heard some of the parents in that age group have reached out to OEFC as well.

I don't know all of the details, I just know a parent told me they (the 10's) voted and they (the parent) thinks the whole team is going to WSA.

Which of yall are the two foot pundits
The identity of Two Foot Pundits is no secret. Two guys with Tulsa soccer experience dating back to the late 70’s/early 80’s…approximately 86 years combined. We have seen the glory days and what it is today from a player, coach, and parent perspective. We have seen all the platforms come and go, but it is time to see Tulsa soccer get back to the competitive small market that NASL helped us become back in the day. Tulsa needs to understand its market and embrace it…that should allow it to grow organically and positively.

FWIW - we are still very active in the game and know most of this information before it hits this forum. However, we will always honor our disclosure agreements to preserve the integrity of the goals our community leaders are planning/implementing to improve the game. -Brad & Bobby

I think Greenwood may have first refusal, but I think there may be more to come with TSC.

If I'm being honest, even though for this area, NL is still the top...it's tempting to try GA under JM if only for the technical development.

But, like I've stated before, my daughter won't train / play for him. She does not like him.

I’m still bit amazed a club whose been in existence less than two years now has the highest level of boys youth soccer in the country.

Especially in Tulsa of all places.

But I guess this speaks to JM's abilities and connections.

Who is helping fund this though?

Where will they train?

Absolutely bananas, but they have been traveling all over the country to get games and show they can put a good product on the field.

Having Michael Nsien behind it really helped. Again….the life lesson here is don’t burn bridges
