MLSGo has been out there…

At the younger groups, the goal is still development. I don't have a problem with a coach letting players from lower groups get some minutes in games. Winning is not the end all be all at U13, U14, and even U15 to be honest.Instead of playing your best 11 and subbing as needed, line ups would change, formations would change and subs would be made in groups and for playing time. My daughter was under the impression that when you got to NL, you were playing to win. But it is very much "business as usual".
Which rankings are these from? GotSoccer? GS rankings are a joke.I think that’s a tough sell. There are some good teams nationally but not in the league TSC would play in. The top 2010 GA team in that league is ranked #110. TSC is #94 for reference.
Eric works his ass off for TSC but unfortunately he's doing the job of 3-4 people with little support from above. I like Eric but he seems to be overworked and probably a little on the under-organized side.Eric has always been pretty open and honest with me when it comes to club stuff, so he gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

So did FC Tulsa get an MLS Next spot? If so I can see them sinking some major money to overhaul Titan and all the fields and maybe somehow turn the turf field into a mini stadium. Honestly by them owning that complex and facility they have a good amount of in place infrastructure for training and games already in place. Yes it needs some work.
With TSC's girls losing NL and FC Tulsa getting MLS Next (if that is what happened), TSC might not exist much longer.
GotSoccer rankings are awful. I use the rankings from USA Soccer App. It’s a soccer ball in the App Store. By far the most accurate rankings around.
FC Tulsa did not get MLS Next. What’s tough for TSC is the club who got MLS Next also got GA. TSC will find it very difficult to survive without a competitive platform in which to play.
I think the club announcement will happen in the week.Maybe the only time I’ve ever said this, but: can we just skip the foreplay and get to it already 😂
Who got it
If TSC would have got GA it would have been bad for WSA. Tecnico getting it? Probably not good for WSA either. MLS Next isn't good for ECNL boys (Except those that want to play high school also). Almost assures TSC loses it and maybe no one gets it. JM must have big $$ behind him. JM can't coach all those teams.
With this weeks announcements and upcoming announcements TSC is in bad bad shape. You hate to see a club that has been around for so long go under, but man it’s not looking good.If TSC would have got GA it would have been bad for WSA. Tecnico getting it? MLS Next is a big leap and a big ask for kids who do not have high school. It is a contractual thing for the whole program. It isn't a guarantee. There have been some major clubs dropping out of it for various reasons. You also have to win at it. Some of the technical teams have not done well at it, and that is MLS Next 2. The travel will be expensive. With this weeks announcements and upcoming announcements TSC is in bad bad shape. They will almost certainly have to draw boys from the OKC area. JM has a track record of putting boys in MLS Next. We’re going to see what he can do with entire rosters.MLS Next is a big leap and a big ask for kids who do not have high school. It is a contractual thing for the whole program. It isn't a guarantee. I want Tulsa to be as successful as possible; the constant drama is tiring. I hope it gets solved at some point. But it is ridiculous. The McIntoshes and Tidell must be chuckling at his downfall and getting paid out.
Tulsa has talent and we have had great teams in the past. We don't always have them. It takes amassing of dedicated talent and parents. I really hope we can get there. They will almost certainly have to draw boys from the OKC area. JM has a track record of putting boys in MLS Next. GA will take some time. Maybe they can pull girls who don’t make WSA’s NL team? It’s a tough ask given the travel requirements.

I don’t know that it will, I have yet to hear that one girl who left the area coming back because WSA got NL.I think WSA getting NL is going to force that amassing.

Their RL teams were playing a combination of other RL and lower level NL teams at the Showcase. The WSA 09s are decent. Their other teams aren’t anywhere near NL level. They will need to be able to recruit a significant number of TSC NL girls to WSA….which I believe will occur. There is at least some number of girls at WSA playing RL because their parents didn’t like TSC.
A number of her RL teams already did well at the showcase, so maybe there is a really competitive team in each age group that can be formed.
It’ll be a slow rebuild.
I didn’t look at all the age groups but I’m pretty sure WSA played other RL teams in the showcase and or very low ranked NL teams. There is at least some number of girls at WSA playing RL because their parents didn’t like TSC.

WSA needs to keep the best girls in town. Coaching retention and a commitment to high level training will be needed.
I expect WSA to hire experienced NL coaches to coach the NL sides. I also expect them to have true tryouts and pick the best girls available. They know results are needed. Going to be a wild few months around here in the world of girls competitive soccer.

I get it man, that’s all you can really do.Gotta start somewhere!
I’m trying to be optimistic is all.
I know TSC parents who have thought WSA was small-time in how they train, so I hope that isn't the case; it is just perception. There is at least some number of girls at WSA playing RL because their parents didn’t like TSC.

Don’t be surprised if a couple of the old TSC coaches who left in the great walkout are coaching a few of WSA’s NL squads
