TW article about Konkol's approach

The best part of the article is something I think Montgomery needs to learn. Konkol heavily emphasizes character. If you are late to practice or late to class you are ineligible for Cane of the Week...according to the article it's like being up by 2 with a couple minutes to go and then you get a technical foul allowing the team a chance to tie. You have to be disciplined and play smart, show character. Do the right things at the right time. I love that.
Don't be like Carolina Panther player that took off his helmet and cost them the game.

I don't think that is a reflection on character. That was definitely a heat of the moment thing...I mean dude just went up and caught a contested hail mary from 62 yards that tied the game. He took it off at the back of the end zone in front of the NFL's celebration monitors. Seriously, the NFL officials need to have just a wee bit restraint and recognize the moment...and it's not like Moore did anything to show up any of the Falcons players in his celebration.

Every time I see something like this published I love what I’m hearing. It will be interesting to see if it translates to results. I’m really looking forward to Myrtle Beach where I will see them play three against varying competition.
Glad you are getting to go.....I think we will play hard and play smart....Hopefully we
will get enough inside play to put some W's on the scoreboard while we gain
some game experience......

While our overall lack of experience might dictate against it, I would bet even money
that this team will be better prepared to open the season than any of Haith's last
several teams......

Than ANY of Haith's teams I would say. We were ALWAYS pathetic in the early season.

Save the celebration till after team wins the game!

Again, it was heat of the moment. How many times are hail mary plays with uner 20 seconds in the game successful? Maybe 2-3% at most?
I know it is difficult and player wants to celebrate but show discipline by avoiding penalty.
