TU Softball - Week 7

This weekend's conference games are at home vs. Charlotte.

Saturday's double header stats at 1:00pm
Sunday's finale is at Noon.

Road Trip Wednesday is up to Sprinfield to face Missouri State at 5:00pm

Current rankings are 17/20

Team ERA is at 1.17 is 4th in the nation.
Bailey Erwin's .88 ERA is 14th overall, 11th of those with greater than 5 appearances.
Aimee Creger's 119 K ranks at 20th overall and leads the nation strike outs per 7 innings pitched.

Jill Barrett's .500 Batting Average ranks her 5th overall 3rd with greater than 20 at bats.

Bailey Erwin is the transfer from Missouri, believe from Claremore. Tulsa getting good nationally has to have a lot to do with these quality players transferring to play ball at Tulsa. Program looks strong.

Aimee Creger pitched the complete game giving up just 1 hit 3 walks and had 14 K

Julie Kernen was 1 for 2 with a double scored once and had 2 RBI

Caitlin Sill pitched the 5 innings giving up 1 hit and 0 walks and had 2 K and 1 HBP

Caitlin hit the first batter, 2nd batter bunted for a hit. She then retired the next 15 in order.

Box Score showed 234 in attendence. Pretty nice crowd for a softball game.

Maggie Withhee went 1 for 1 with a double, a walk, scored twice and stole a base
Julie Kernen was 1 for 1 with a 3 RBI HR in the bottom of the 5th forcing the run rule stoppage.

Bailey Erwin pitched the 5 innings giving up 1 ER, 7 hits, 2 walks, and had 3 K
