Great job by the men's cross country team. In the history of TU men's athletics, not too many teams have finished the season as high as seventh in the nation at season's end. The 1969 baseball team finished second in the college world series. The 2000 men's basketball team advanced to the elite eight. I believe we advanced to the elite eight in men's soccer in 2004 and 2008. The 1942 football team was ranked fourth in the final AP poll. I think that's about it as far as I know. Perhaps someone else can think of other teams I am leaving out.
