Conventional wisdom of late has been that as Birt goes, so goes TU....Trouble
is Birt was like 11/15 from three vs. Temple and UConn (I didn't look up the box
scores to be exact), and we lost them both......

We assumed that we would receive normal performances from Juice and Shaq,
and that a good Birt performance would make us the winner....

Our recent losses have been primarily from two sources...Giving up way too
many offensive rebounds, and not making crucial free throws.....Also, of course,
Juice had an off game against UConn., maybe the worst of his career....

To win against Cinn., we will have to play well, and get good performance from
the usual sources, Juice, Shaq, and Birt, and hold Cinn.'s rebounding margin
to a small number....AND of course, make a decent % of our free throws!!

Also, I would like to see Taplin get some meaningful minutes....A home game
this late in his fr. year, should not be too much pressure for the young man to
handle...He may be our best distributor.....

I have a good feeling about this game, although physical teams give us the
biggest problems.....

GO TU!!
