Good Lord I remember the terrible commercial that was aired on TV before that season where Bruce Howard said "It's the year we've been waiting for!"

Good bless Bruce but I dunno how he was made to do that.
This we can 100% agree on.
I knew it was going to be an underachieving season and was disappointed when I heard that.

I must say that I am very impressed with the players development as mentioned by Konkol during his recent press conference. Matt Reed looks like a different human than last season, and I need to connect with his trainer and nutritionist. Archie and Isaiah certainly added muscle, which will benefit them both in different ways. Obviously, none of this guarantees wins, but it's definitely a great sign of things to come.

My biggest concern is II’s comments.
I’m hoping he’s trying reverse thought posting to turn things around. 🤣

And a damn fine marching band as well. Seems that Nixa does a lot of things right.
I dated a girl from Nixa back in the day. She lived across the street from the family that ran the Baldknobbers show in Branson.

A neighboring town about 5 miles from where I live is building an IPF for the high school. They have the top ranked large class football team this year led by

Do you live in Ozark?

I can now report that we absolutely destroyed North Dakota State in the scrimmage Saturday. I know at one point we were up as much as 25 points in the second half.
I almost forgot what good news feels like with TU sports

They finished 15-17 last year, beating ORU twice and are predicted to finish 3rd in the Summit this year

Sounds like we tried to pick out a scrimmage of similar teams...at least by conference predictions. 3rd in Summit is like 9th in AAC. If we did as well as reported then I would love to see the video or a box score.
Cool post.

I live about 10 Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary’s away.
So when I was dating the girl from Nixa, she and her brother would throw shade at Ozark..kind of like the way Woody would throw shade at French Lick, IN on Cheers and then Kevin McHale came in and talked about how Larry Bird trashed Woody's hometown of Hannibal, IN.

She did take me to a nice restaurant in Ozark...a steak house with Italian flare on the extreme east side of the town. Her family opened a restaurant somewhere in the area well after I stopped dating her. Good family.

I'm from the Harrison, Arkansas area. Occasionally we would make the dangerous trip across the state line into Missouri but we did watch KYTV with our tall antenna.

And that was a down year for them. It's usually them and SDSU fighting for the Summit bid and NDSU is usually full of long players who can shoot and I would suspect that's what they have this year too. They're probably suffering from NIL and free agency as well because they find players and develop them and now a P4 is going to pay them to play for them.

So where did you find this information?
