While Tulsa added an impressive list of 24 high school signees on Wednesday, the most immediate impact will most likely come from the transfers that are headed to TU in January. The Hurricane signed four talented players from the transfer portal, as well as two junior college prospects.

Linebackers and a QB were the recruiting holes to fill by next week. Looks like both are a done deal. We're up to 12 Rivals 3-star guys and the latest is a kid from Ohio. Tim Carpenter is 6' 3 or 4"-200 lbs who was committed to Indiana but dropped them & hopefully will sign next week. There's some irony here as IU got rid of their coach (a la KDub) & Carpenter then commits to TU and our current and that former IU coach. Wonder if the C.J. Stroud/KDub connection at OSU had anything to do with it. HA!!

Our LB class is solid with at least 2 xfers & 2 frosh. Our remaining RB commit, Viron Ellison, looks like a keeper with offers from Mizzou, BYU, Colo. St. and Cal. among many others. To me, it takes the sting off the Green de-commit. However, do not be surprised if KDUB & staff come up with one or two stud RB's next week. Anyone still doubting our ability to recruit guys who can develop and play needs to get with the program.
