2020 Tulsa commit Trey Phipps had an outstanding week in Atlanta at the Under Armour Association event while playing for the Oklahoma PWP 16-U team.

Phipps was the event’s fifth leading scorer with a 20 point average in 5 games. He averaged 2.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He shot 60.9% from the field, 50% from 3-point range (15-30) and made 100% of his free throws (9-9).

Good to hear, makes me nervous though. Too many performances like that puts too many coaches eyes on him.

You never know but he seems like the type of young man that will stick to his word, especially with his dad coaching at BTW and his family getting to see all of his home games.

I forgot to mention—he played 21.3 minutes a game and had only 1 turnover. In a blowout win he only played 8 minutes but managed to score 25 pts without missing a shot 9-9 fgs, 4-4 3-pt, 3-3 fts.

He’s by far the best shooter in the Oklahoma 2020 class.

I agree with you. I like his quick release and form. Not a great athlete but should get more athletic as he matures and gets stronger.

The 2020 class in Oklahoma is one of the better ones in quite a few years with Thompson, Holman, Bradford, Phipps, Rondell Walker, Davon Richardson, Brock Davis, etc.
