Weird Abe Anderson used to post here all the time. He was the head of Lamar University field maintenance. He used to draw the lines on the fields before games. When he was let go he tried to get a job here at TU but didn't get it. He is a HUGE Temple fan though and follows AAC. I messaged him and this was his response
"Yes. I submitted my bracket into that group. As far as my status on the Tulsa Rivals board, I don't know what's going on with that. It won't let me log in or post and hasn't for quite some time. I just assumed they didn't want me posting any longer. I mean, if he wants to remove me from the group, not a big deal. Probably the best for them as I'd likely lose it and everyone else would be playing for the trophy. LOL!
You are free to share this on the TU board, as I am unable to post there."
Whatever Sorry boys (and girls), the reigning and defending bracket champion has entered the contest. Just remember….no shame in finishing second. #Losers

This is exactly the feeling I have. I just do not know enough about college basketball this year. NIL is slowly killing college sports for me and I just didnt pay attention. I love March Madness though, I have no inkling who is good.I already feel I didn’t pick enough upsets and the ones I did pick were the wrong ones.
Both on the floor now and they are up on Clemson by 14 near halftimeHappy for former Tulsa players, Christian Shumate and Bryant Selebangue getting a chance to dance for McNeese St.

Happy for those guys, but this is really going to tank my bracket at the onset...Happy for former Tulsa players, Christian Shumate and Bryant Selebangue getting a chance to dance for McNeese St.
Add Haggerty to the mix and all three should be playing for Tulsa today.Happy for former Tulsa players, Christian Shumate and Bryant Selebangue getting a chance to dance for McNeese St.
Drake beats Mizzou with 4 DII players.D2 players are showing that there is not that much difference in the top D2 players and D1 players. The FAU transfer Johnell Davis to Arkansas had ice in his veins as he had been in Final Four in the past. Creighton the best looking team of the whole day. Barkley on air saying how tough coaching is important. Quit being soft and nice all the time with players.
Can someone please explain the first 4 to me. I have never understood the seedings of it. They have two 16 seed play-in games and two 11 seed play-in games. That doesnt make sense to me. If these are the last 8 teams to make the tournament then it should be four games fighting for the 16th seed. If you are 11th seed then you are saying they are already better than 20 other teams so why are they having to fight to even get into the tournament??? It makes zero sense to me. They are good enough to be a 11th seed but if they lose then all of a sudden 20 teams just jump them???
I.I. is correct. the play in games if I remember right were instituted because some teams that deserved to be in were left out and so you have the play in games. Here is where my issue lies with the "first 4". These should be for 11 and 12 seeds. The teams they have in the "first four" that are 16 seeds are conference champions. They should be guaranteed a spot in the field of 64 as they have earned it. They shouldnt have to play in to get into a tournament that they had already earned their spot. The #11 seeds are the last at large bids. The 12-16 are usually automatic qualifiers.
