Reason we are now #24 instead of #18

Agree. Tulsa's offense with Smith at QB is anemic at best. They have scored 1 touchdown in his last 5-1/2 qtrs of play. And that is not against top defensive teams. It could be really ugly against a Cincy defense. Hope not.

It hurts that OSU keeps losing.

UCF kept losing
SMU lost to ECU

Conversely, Louisiana bumped up big time...

They pounded Iowa State...Iowa State keeps winning.
Their only loss is to Coastal Carolina...Coastal Carolina keeps winning.

This is the problem in a nutshell.

I’m just really happy for the school and the players but also the students at large to have something exciting during such a crappy year. The rest is gravy.

The Big 12 and AAC should do a deal where the first Sunday of November the conferences pair teams from each conference in three tiers and match them up within those tiers based on a random draw to play games the weekend after Thanksgiving. It would make the Big 12 that weekend relevant again. For instance Big 12 Number One Oklahoma is matched up with AAC Number 3 Houston, etc.

Its a pipe dream with all the locked in OOC contracts, but a guy can dream. The ACC and SEC could make a fortune off of that concept and it keep it all to themselves.

Ah, but you forget that the SEC reserves that weekend for their annual "Blowout a HS team" weekend
