I'm putting together a pre-signing day recruiting update, but wanted to pass along just a few tidbits.
Prior to the coaching change, Tulsa was close to getting a commitment from Korbyn Green, a juco DB from Owasso that originally signed with BYU in 2022. He took an official visit to Western Kentucky in early November, and I think he was waiting to see what happened with Tulsa. With TU still not having a coach in place, he committed to WKU on December 1.
3-star QB and Tulsa commit Eli Morcos finally responded to me, but just to confirm that Texas A&M and Texas State offered over the weekend. He didn't say anything about his commitment or recruiting. So he will be one to watch tomorrow.
I think LB Tristan Lawyer may be wavering as well. Not sure what his other options are right now, but he had several other offers.
