JC Santana will be first team w/ Brin throwing him the ball. If I remember correctly, JC was Brin's favorite target in that Tulane game and JC ended up having a big night, including the ridiculous hail mary catch.
Add'l prediction, Jaxon Player will be the DPOY. And how Big Cat and Anthony Goodlow are not on this list is sort of ridiculous. Anyone who paid any attention last year knew Goodlow was unblockable 1 v 1 and Big Cat was doubled almost every play. There's a reason why the LBs were able to make so many plays behind the LOS. You can't measure DL stats in just sacks or QB pressures or tackles. The fact that we can go with a 3 man front every down and occupy all 5 OL leaving a TE or a RB to try and block 3 LBs who have the speed they have is a losing offensive prop. Watch for teams to use a lot of counter trey action in their running game and naked boots to get the QB outside the pocket. We are susceptible to over pursue the misdirection stuff because of our speed and aggressiveness on defense. Last year Zaven was a little more disciplined on the backside and used his speed to force things back inside and chase them down. Why Chuba got stuffed on the first play vs going 75 yards for a TD the year before. And we may be faster at the LB spot this year.
