Tulsa continued to build on its excellent 2024 basketball recruiting class with the addition of Georgia State transfer Dwon Odom. The 6-foot-2 guard began his college career at Xavier, and he'll have one year of eligibility remaining.

Yes....Now that we have a wealth of PGs, we do need someone that is a definite threat
to score in the post....We have some 3 pg shooters, but not much on the inside yet....

Now that we added Amadi, we are down to two scholarships...The freshman we are
(were?) looking at would prob. be a wing or "big"....Would take either or both at this
juncture!

Dwon and Amadi from JMU are both pretty much exclusively 2 pt scorers. Maybe we're trying to build offense from littler guys who work under or get to the basket? Amadi is a career 64.7% shooter (yes, you read that right). Not a ton of shots and very few 3Pts. But he's not putting up stupid shots.

Odom also would have had by far the best assist to TO ratio of anyone on our team. Seems like Konkol is looking for guys who know what they're good at and how they can help the team and go out and do it. Guys he can trust.
