Got to get the major schools in for profitsMore surprised that Oklahoma St and San Jose St got in with losing records!
I saw a headline that 11 teams declined NIT offers.Absolutely shocked the American got 4 bids considering the conference preferences.
Now that’s a tournament I’ve never heard of. I looked it up and that’s where Tulane went, they also had 6 or 7 teams who were invited but turned them down. I was surprised to see them going up against the final four with their semis on the same day but the finals on Sunday instead of Monday.NIT is now a third tier tournament behind the NCAA and CBC.
