I remember that game well. I couldn't believe they fell on the ball on 4th down. The former Heisman winner didn't know the rules had changed since he was a player, and the clock would stop. Steve Cox had a huge leg. He kicked a 60-yard field goal in the NFL, where he was mostly a punter. He kicked three field goals in a 9-3 victory in 1976 at Arkansas - Tulsa's last victory there.
