Kansas and N.C. State newly named in Basketball Scandal

Yes I do. It simply requires that the illegal funds be turned into something of value, like tax write offs, tickets, etc. pretty obvious kinds of things that come to donors.

Sort of....the common practice is to take cash and pay for goods and services which are fictional. Let's say your a big time meth dealer say living in the southwestern U.S. You purchase a car wash and launder the cash from the meth business to pay for fictional car washes and other related services. I think such a setup would work as long as your brother in law doesn't work for the DEA or your worthless wife pays off some dude she's banging.

Ohhh...
I thought it like when you wash a load of clothes and when you pull them out of the dryer there's a $20 in there.

And the worthless dude ends up dying because of his own cowardice

Damn I miss that show....

I thought it was when you got that guy you killed's blood all over a bag of money and had to put it in the wash.

Now we’ll really see if the NCAA has any balls left or if they’ve been completely
neutered
A better question might be "Did they ever have any...,.

They seem to somehow "co-exist" with the "big five" conferences, and regulate
the rest....When was the last time they ever really came down on a big five
conference member?

Nothing good is going to come from this. It is too widespread, with too powerful of programs, and too much money at stake. As more programs are overtly named as suspected violators the fans and power brokers for each will start to "realize" that they didn't do anything wrong, it's the rules that need to change.

NCAA vs. Big Time programs, who do you think backs down?

Add in the precedent the NCAA has set the last 15-20 years. How many programs end up truly regretting academic cheating, recruiting violations, or even pay-to-play violations? If it's a choice between losing honestly or winning and facing a slap on the wrist for cheating - well, many programs sure don't seem to regret the cheating very much even after getting caught. Hell, one could make an argument that it is a sound business decision.

Plus, who wants those pesky Cinderellas stealing the share of profits that everyone knows the Major Programs generate? This sport has gotten far to egalitarian. Baltimore County? Some old nun? Nope, the Major Programs didn't do anything wrong - we just need to change the rules.
