TU- @ UCONN, Cincy, @ UCF, Temple, @ Memphis, USF
SMU- @ UCONN, ECU, @ Memphis, Tulane, UCONN, @ Cincy
Cincy- ECU, @ Tulsa, UCONN, @ ECU, @ Houston, SMU
UCONN- @ Temple, Tulsa, SMU, @ Cincy, @ USF, Houston, @ SMU, UCF
Temple- UCONN, UCF, @ Houston, @ Tulsa, UCF, Memphis, @ Tulane

Temple appears to have the easier road to the championship at this point. Have to hope UCONN beats them tonight.

I think we can afford only one more loss to tie or win the league.

agree we should root for UConn. We need Temple to lose and UConn to maintain a top 50 RPI. And, playing UConn after a road W is preferable to playing them after a road L.
Also most root strongly for SMU to defeat Gonzaga Saturday night in Dallas - key for the league perception and TU's W last night.

I think Temple is going to struggle at Houston as well. Houston has played really well in that building this year in front of no fans...UCONN has the toughest road to go.

I will say this, IF we manage to beat UCONN on Saturday as we can do if we play to our capabilities...do not put it past this squad to run the table for the remainder of the regular season. This team seems to get really high after winning a confidence boosting game. I also think Haith has finally found a rotation he is comfortable with.

Temple against Villinova #1 would be good for an AAC win. That would probably be a lock for a Temple bid.

Temple is rated #97 on Sagarin , #95 on Kenprom and #68 CBS Sports RPI.

They could lose four games. UCONN, Tulsa, Houston and Memphis.

GO TU!!!!

I will probably be contrary to most fans but after the win last night I would like to see SMU win out. A regular season title would be nice but I really want that number 1 seed in the conference tourney and SMU beating the other teams we are up against would help. If SMU can take down the Zags and Temple can beat 'Nova then I would be a happy guy.

In terms of what is best for TU, I want them to win out. In terms of being a TU fan, I want them to lose every game remaining and Larry Brown to admit he cheated and is a big cheater and for the NCAA to rule Nic Moore ineligible and vacate all SMU wins since he's been there.

I actually agree that we need SMU to win out. We also need UConn and Cinncy to win all of their games except against TU. The magical top 25/50 numbers are important. And I detest SMU's athletic program (not the school or its alumni).

If SMU wins out we will have an RPI TOP 10 road win. $$

That double dribble was turrible. Briefly felt like I was watching an elementary school play.

Temple ended the game on a 21-4 run to win.

UCONN looked like we looked the last 5 minutes against Temple. Temple's crowd just brings them through at the end and they make every three. Temple now has the easiest lane to a championship.

but Temple has to play here and that will be a big game for TU. Last year TU and Temple cancelled each other out despite our sweep. This year TU has a marquee win on the road over SMU, better than Temple's home win. But TU blew it at Houston. I really believe TU will get in with a win at UConn and a W over either Temple or Cinncy at home, as long as the other games are Ws. Tough, yes? but possible, yes after last night.

The Memphis game is worrisome to me. We don't match up well inside with them. Same as Cincy but Cincy has better guards.

Temple is in a commanding position with only 3 losses and only plays SMU once. They're 6-0 against the top conference teams--2-0 Cincy, 2-0 UConn and 1-0 against us and SMU. They'll probably only lose at most 2 more games, @Houston and @Tulsa. With 4 losses we'll need to win out to finish ahead of them and they seem to have the easiest schedule going forward.

I'm worried about UCONN. We can worry about crazy pants Pastner when the time comes.

I'm also worried about UCONN. Having Brimah back will give us a match up problem inside. Although, perhaps Shaq can slice and dice their interior like he did vs SMU and I'm being a worry wart.

Update on 2-14-16 Temple still inside lane to championship and number one seed and NCAA berth. Two games (TU and UCONN) made it happen.......

TU- 8-5 Cincy, @ UCF, Temple, @ Memphis, USF
SMU- 9-3 @ UCONN, ECU, @ Memphis, Tulane, UCONN, @ Cincy
Cincy- 9-4 @ Tulsa, UCONN, @ ECU, @ Houston, SMU
UCONN-8-4 SMU, @ Cincy, @ USF, Houston, @ SMU, UCF
Temple- 9-3 @ Houston, @ Tulsa, UCF, Memphis, @ Tulane

Since we get Cincy and Temple at home, which should be our main threats for a loss, I put our chances of going undefeated from here until the Tournament at about 45%. I'm a little worried about the Memphis game on the road - a wounded animal is always dangerous.
