Games of Interest (2.19.22 - 2.22.22) @ South Florida

Cue penny bashing in Memphis for another NIT season barring a tourney run

If Memphis is the "first team out" again, they will burn Memphis down over there. If they lose a few more and quickly lose in the AAC tournament, they could be out even if Lunardi thinks they will be a final four team.

No Games today.

Looking at the Standings, with only four games left, the best we could seed is 8th and that is if we win all of our games. This is with wins over East Carolina (currently 9) and Wichita State (currently 8). We could take the losses to UCF and SMU but the other two teams would need to almost lose out as well for us to get 8. Seven might be a remote possibility but that means We have to win out and Cincinnati has to lose out.

With the UCF win and the Cincinnati loss yesterday, those two have switched places giving us Cincinnati still playing at 2 p.m. That is the only shake up from the games yesterday. If Wichita State could have pulled off the win then other changes would have been made.

Eight conference teams are playing on Wednesday, including TU at SMU that might shake up all of the seedings.
