ITS GAME DAY!!!!!!

Tulsa hosts Alcorn State tonight at the Reynolds Center.

We only have one other game that I am covering today is UT Arlington at Oral Roberts.

UCF jumped 15 spots with that huge win on the road over Temple in our first conference game of the season. Temple dropped 21 spots as well.

Southern Illinois jumped 21 spots with the huge win last night also. This win also jumped them from a Q4 Win to a Q3 win. Hopefully they can put together some more wins to move up in the rankings.

We have three games in 6 days starting today. So lets string some good wins together and boost the ranking before we go into conference play.

I am excited about the big Spiderman premier at 6:30 central at the AMC Southroads and then watching the TU replay when we get home. So I will likely avoid my phone until about 11 Central tonight.

Good win yesterday. The only thing from making it a great win is if we could have been a little more efficient. That said we won by 21. We would have won by 19 but Alcorn was playing to the end and irritated Haywood. It got us a 19 spot bump though. Acorn dropped 15 spots.

ORU had a close win yesterday and got them selves a 8 spot bump.

Our next game is Saturday against Colorado state (NET 25) on Saturday in Fort Worth. Then Tuesday in OKC against North Texas (NET 96) to finish off the Non-Conference Schedule.

There is only one game I am tracking today and that is Liberty vs East Carolina in Charlotte at the Basketball Hall of Fame Shootout.

That’s unfortunate, since a win over CSU would have helped us. Sounds like they didn’t want to play a superior team and used the “Covid excuse” to protect their record.

This was going to be our toughest opponent before conference play. A win would have massively helped us out
