ITS GAMEDAY!!!!! Today Tulsa men travel to Sunrise, Florida to take on the UCF Knights in the AutoNation Orange Bowl Basketball Classic. Tulsa has 3 games, including this one, left in their Non-Conference Slate. One of them doesn’t count on the NET. Then we will start conference play on New Years day at home against Rice. The speadsheet is not talking to the internet today so the NET numbers are not correct. Forgive me.

Today’s games

Memphis at Clemson
Wichita St. at DePaul
Texas St. at FAU
Charlotte at Georgia St.
USF at Utah St.
Tulane at FSU
Oklahoma St. at Oklahoma

Full Schedule is below

AND 1

Today I got tickets to the Army Navy game so that is where I will be today and not watching the basketball game. This should be a great game and I am looking for a Navy victory.

If the playoffs were still up for grabs I would be pulling for Army but as it is I’ll join you in pulling for Navy. I’m also going to have to watch the basketball game on replay as I have a play to attend this afternoon (season ticket).

It was a great game. College atmosphere in an NFL stadium. It was wild.
You are just in a good mood cuz of who won the game. 😜

I was surprised that Navy won. That would have sucked if Army beat Notre Dame and lost a shot to go to the
CFP.

I am glad who won the game but it was great atmosphere. I did think Army was going to win and I really thought it would be closer than what it was. I dont think Monken called a good game for Army. They are better than what they showed.

The selection for the CFP was before the Army Navy game. So if they beat notre dame and were ranked ahead of Boise they would have still recieved the Nod as the spots were solidified before this game.

Oh yeah, I forgot that it worked the other way around. It would have been the CFB playoffs who were disappointed if they beat Notre Dame and lost to Navy.

They wouldn’t necessarily have to have been ranked ahead of Boise, just Arizona State or Clemson.

That was the P4s doomsday scenario if one of their conference champions was not one of the 5 highest rated champs. At one point, there was a possibility of the Big 12 or ACC winner not making the playoffs.

I hope you enjoyed the game today. How was the stadium? AC/DC is playing there in May and it’s one of the few tour stops that didn’t sell out immediately.
The stadium is just like any NFL stadium. I am a season ticket holder for the commanders so I am there all the time. It’s expensive as hell but good views. I will be seeing Metallica there in May. I am not sure how it is for a concert but a football game you have great views.

I am sad today. My spreadsheet crashed and I have to rebuild it. This is going to take too much time so not sure how my posts will look the remainder of the season. This really sucks.

So here is my best effort right now as I have football to watch. Tulsa dropped to 314 in the NET

I think Memphis was always the preseason favorite
IRVING, Texas – Defending American Athletic Conference champion UAB has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the 2024-25 American men’s basketball title in voting done by the league’s head coaches, the conference announced Friday, October 11.
