It will be tough to lose with Jared Garcia playing like he did Monday night against South Carolina State. Garcia had 23 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocked shots, and a steal to lead Tulsa to a 90-70 win in front of 2,791 fans at the Reynolds Center.

It was fun to see Tulsa win a tournament with Mizzou in it. Great to still win by 20 when star point guard Cobe Williams fouls out with 6:02 left after not having his best night offensively. He did have 6 steals, however.

Drayton Jones was a player we offered last year. I guess when we got Sellebangue we layed off him. I wish we hadn’t. I’d like to know the story behind his recruitment.
