The importance of Tulsa getting a road win against a decent opponent, especially in a place and over a team that TU had previously struggled, cannot be overstated.

The confidence the Golden Hurricane gained from the victory over Louisiana Tech last Saturday night is much needed going into what should be a tough, even matchup at North Texas in Denton Saturday night at 6 p.m at DATCU Stadium (30,850).

I have vivid memories of TU going to Denton and demolishing North Texas in 2005 and 2008. Just destroyed them.

This is going to be a tough one, but there is no reason Tulsa can't win this game.
