they are really good , excellent 3 point shooters and ,#30 was player of the year last year anf will ,be ,this year. However Tulsa started 3 sophmores and one junior and had a good recruiting class for next year. I expect 2nd in the conference next year and to be playing post season probably wnit.

I went to the game just to see what a top ranked womens team looked like. UCONNS posts looked like a head taller than our players. The athletic difference is enormous. I have to give credit to our girls. they fought their hearts out, but it was a mismatch from the beginning. Coach Moss needs to expand her recruiting - hope they give her the money to do it. Stepping up in this league in WBB will be a long process.
Rabid, it's not just TU that needs to step up in the American when you talk women's basketball. Everyone has to take a new approach.
UCONN has the best coach in the game IMO. He has fantastic players BUT he makes them better by pushing them to their limits. Most of these players would do fine with little coaching, but when Geno gets them he turns them into a team that simply dominates the game against any opponent, as evidenced by the fact they beat the previous #1 by 20+ pts and the game wasn't that close. Sometimes they lose a game when they are the superior team, but it is almost always early on. Once they get into the tournament they are the absolute toughest team mentally and physically.
