Basketball predictions

My prediction was one game off OOC and I think I would have been pretty close in conference if we hadn’t blown the Cincy game. That loss just seemed to be a gut punch to our guys that they couldn’t recover from.

Two years consecutivr

Back to back years of both bad football and subpar basketball combined with issues that the university is having internally equals a tough time to be a TU fan/supporter. I really hope better things are to come and there does seem to be a few positives coming along relatively soon, but these last two years have been hard on the blue and gold. No matter your specific opinion on coaching, university decisions, etc., we’re all on the same team here and we all want TU to be as successful as possible.

Now let the off-season fun and rumors fly!

I used to live Tulsa athletics. This last few years has killed that.

Please lets become competive again.

You're probably right, but there's no denying the Cincy game was a gut punch. Season goes a lot differently if we manage pull that one off.
It certsinly sounds better than “other teams adapted and improved while we stagnated and regressed.” :)

I suspect the only difference if we had won the Cindy game is that we would have one more win and one less loss.

I personally suspect the Cindy game was more symptom than disease...

This team loved the high drama. They lacked the mental and sometimes physical toughness to pull it off.

My prediction like most is a handful of games off, which isn't bad, unless you look at those handful games and how they lost. That makes for a revealing peek into the season. The Cincy at home, UCF, and both Wichita games insightful in why we finished with no post season.
