Any Updates on Brandon?

So, most of the conversation and from what I've seen is, Rachal will be OK but with how much time was left in the game when the injury occurred, he just wasn't able to come back in. I was about 15-20 feet from the TU bench with a good view of Dr. Mauerman. Haith came over after one of the timeouts and asked "How bad is it?" Dr. Mauerman answered "He'll be OK" and I believe what he said next is "but he won't be back tonight." Rachal rejoined the TU bench with about 2 minutes left in the game. I did not see any ice. I didn't see an extra wrap. It may have been bad enough to keep him out of the rest of the game and they may have tried to retape it to see if that helped. Usually if it's severe, they will retape, put an ice bag on it, and wrap the ice bag to compress and control the swelling.

I should have stayed and watched to see him go through the hand shake line and then out for the alma mater to see if he was limping.

He didn’t get in line for the handshake. Hurley came up to him and had quite a talk at the end of the bench. Kept patting his shoulder. Rachal didn’t come out for the alma mater and got help walking to locker room. Walking might be the wrong word. It was more like a carry.

He looked like he was in a lot of pain. His eyes said a lot. Mauerman really talked to him.

As above. I saw him attempt to leave and he looked in a lot of pain. Very surprised he did not have an ice wrap.

We're in deep trouble if he's out for an extended time. No one or no combination of players can completely replace his skill set.

So we’re really missing the players Gragg couldn’t get the ok to play this year. Screw him. Let him go to Vandy.

Interesting that Kelly says he'll be a game-time decision for UCF. The injury seemed worse than that. My guess is that he doesn't play tomorrow, but that is encouraging news

He didn't appear to twist it on the way down, my fear is a stress fracture in the foot somewhere. We won't know for sure, but if he doesn't come back 100% this promising season has taken a turn for the worse
