Really I don't care about Houston. Wanted them to lose. I can't bring myself to pull for them. They played decent defense on the last play though. Didn't see the rest of the game.

I really like Cincy's draw. I could see them playing Xavier in the FF.

First, stop being a d—-. Houston winning is good for the conference in general and by the mere fact we’re in the same conference, good for us. It’s the transitive property of math.

Second, Xavier and Cincy would be epic. Hey hate each other for the fairly meaningless game in early December. Can you imagine what’d be like if they let in a game that actually meant something more than the “Queen City Bragging Rights”?

I don’t agree with that philosophy. You want to be in a league that kids want to play in not “play for us because the other teams aren’t as good as people think”. I was hoping for three American teams in the FF. I hope all 12 teams go undefeated OOC next year. A rising tide raises all boats.

I only agree with that when a conference has a lot of teams that are doing well in the non conference. When that's not happening it's just putting a couple teams in a different stratosphere. There's a difference to the Big East getting 5+ teams in and a couple doing well and what the American has been doing.

We actually lost Armoni Brooks to them. He's become somewhat of a shooting stud. We also seem to compete with them for a number of JUCO's.

Every AAC win = approx. $1.7 million for the conference over a 6 year period.

So....GO HOUSTON, CINCY & WSU!

Did we get five units (credits)? 1.7mil. by 5 = 8.5 mil. / 12 teams = 708 thousand per team.

I know we earned 5 credits for this tournament. I don’t know what our past performance was, but this was definitely subpar for our conference. Losing 2 games in the last seconds really hurts.

A couple free throws here & there & we have 2 teams in the Sweet Sixteen. Wichita was the only one of the 3 that looked bad.
