American Teams in the NCAA Tournament

Do you ever stop reaming on TU's program. You are the worst fan ever. Lets keep taking every comment anybody makes and turn it into something negative to say about TU's program. Even if we were horrible(which we aren't) you'd make it seem worse than horrible. Jeez louise stfu. I can't wait for Haith to get that extension, but you'll probably go back on your word there too.
He does not. Did anyone notice how noticeably quiet he was when TU won 8 of their last 9...and as soon as we play a poor game and lose to Memphis he is all loud an "know-it-all" basketball GM?

I hate people like him, that always have to have something to complain about. I'd never invite him to a party, he'd bring everybody down.

Wichita State playing like garbage. Shamet hasn't been good and Reaves can't hit the broad side of a barn right now.

That honestly wasn't to rag on our program. Just saying that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

very disappointed in Wichita State's showing. At least UH won (barely) and Cinncy is about to finish off a W over Georgia State. We need Cinncy at least to make the Sweet 16 to avoid the "overrated" label.

I recall WSU loses almost all of its team to graduation.

Elmore is a hell of a player. The top of the CUSA was solid this year. It's a shame that only the 4th place team got a a chance to dance.

They have a good recruiting class coming in depending on whether or not Alex Lomax decides to go the prep school route so he can play @ Memphis.

Still, it will take them some time to work the kinks out. I suspect they miss the tournament next season.

Maybe I shouldn't have spoken so disparagingly about Butler. Their taking Piggy down today

Cincy should advance. Nevada has a good team this year and I picked them to take down Texas but I don’t think they can handle the physicality if the Bearcats.

I agree on not being able to handle Cincinnati. Although, Nevada looked pretty physical late in their game with Texas. I’m excited to watch those two go at it.

Not specifically about an AAC team but a team that was once formerly coached by a current AAC team assistant. When did DW get fired from Charleston? They’re playing pretty well against Auburn and am wondering how many players they have that were brought in by DW. Brantley is a really good player for Charleston

I only saw the second half of the WSU-Marshall game, but I was really impressed with the way Marshall played. The Shockers looked thoroughly intimidated and Marshall reminded me of a Nolan Richardson team.

Marshall had two great players. That is many times enough.

I had a feeling Marshall would give them trouble. Shamet just picked a bad time to have his worse game. Marshall won't be an easy out though for anyone

Cincy’s draw has opened up rather nicely for them

That side of the bracket looks remarkably similar to TU's 2000 elite eight run. We were in Nevada's spot I think a 7 vs a 10 (UNLV) and then hit # 2 Cincy in 2nd round (Nashville-same site)'

An 8-9 team with superior talent but underachievement during season (UNC) knocked off a # 1 seed and advanced. Kentucky is not an 8-9 but close to that description this year.

Houston-Michigan really grind it out game. Neither team looks like they can advance much further but hope Houston hangs on.

Refs have destroyed the flow of this game. Houston does well when the game has tempo and this game has had none because of all the calls

Have to make the fts. That's what it came down to in the end. I knew as soon as he missed both that Michigan would hit a shot at the buzzer. Up to cincy now.

Top three point shooter gets open shot. Amazing.

I CANNOT believe that went in. I haven’t been that emotionally invested in a non-TU game in a while. I thought Houston was getting hosed by the refs all game long (called touch fouls again UH on 4 straight possessions down the stretch to allow UM to score 8 straight from the FT line which kept Michigan in it, while the whole game Gray was getting bumped on every single drive to the rim with not a single foul call that I can remember.).

FT’s win games though, and UH’s Davis missed 3 HUGE ones in the last 30 seconds.

I don’t like Cincinnati but we really need them to advance.

Obviously they have to play well to win but I like their path to the Final 4 quite a bit. I think they match up well with Loyola and Kentucky/UMBC/Kansas St. Their game with Nevada today is the one I’m most concerned with.

Ok, but I’ll set the over/under until he comes up with the respond, let’s go with 1 day.
How long did he wait on the, "I wasn't really talking/ragging on Tulsa." response? Less than a half day? Doubt he'll take that long to 'craft' a response. :coffee:

Note: Talk/Rag one in the same for Aston.

Cincinnati off to a Tulsa-Temple type start.
Wichita or Houston never looked this good.
