Interestingly all 4 of the AAC's men's soccer championship games have been settled by PKs. TU has appeared in the finals and won in PKs the last 3 yrs (and all 3 years it has been in the league). TU sort of has a monopoly on the men's soccer title. Make McGuire is a freaking stud. He makes more scars vs PKs than any keeper I've ever seen. His 1st today was a good save against an avg shot. His 2nd save in USFs 4th attempt is what will get McGuire playing upper division pro-soccer next year. TU loses McGuire and maybe 2 more key players off of this team but has some amazing talent in the FR/SO classes. This team will be a force for a couple of more years at least.

Thank goodness this week-end wasn't a total wipeout. McGuire let in kind of a cheapy in regulation but came up huge in the shoot-out. Another trophy for TU & Men's Futbol!!!
