I'd flip uconn and SMU based solely off of their February run, other than that it looks about right. Tomorrow night might change #3 and #4 too, but due to Cincy sweeping SMU I'd keep UC at #3 for now.

If we don't get the #1 seed, I hope a Temple gets the 3 and UCONN gets the 5. This would put us against Temple in the Semi-finals and a SMU vs. UCONN game would ensure we only play one of them if we get to the finals.

This is the way I have it playing it out.

Me too. I think Temple wins their next 2 while Cincy goes 1 and 1. Everything else looks right for seeding. I predict it will be a TU vs. UCONN finals.

I believe the only way UCONN can get the #3 seed would be if Cincy loses at TU and vs Memphis, and UCONN beats Memphis at home and beats Temple in Philly. Highly unlikely A tie between Cincy and UCONN or Temple should be won by Cincy as they swept SMU.

Most likely UCONN is playing for the #4 or #5 seed, a difference of wearing home or away jerseys and having the home or visitors lockerroom and bench.

If TU beats Cincy and Temple beats UCONN in Philly, Temple will secure the #3 seed. Regardless of what TU does vs Cincy, Temple needs to beat UCONN on their homecourt to insure UCONN does not move into a 3-way tie for 3rd place. The most obvious way Cincy can keep UCONN out of the #3 seed is for Cincy to beat TU, which none of us want.

That 4/5 game will be a slugfest either way, Temple vs UCONN or Cincy vs UCONN.

I only think the tie break works for Cincy in the event of a 3 way tie. If it's 2 then it would be head to head record and then to the next tie break criteria if they were 1-1 vs. each other. Weren't we having this EXACT conversation a year ago? It's good to be relevant again and not just in conference.
