'23 Tulsa/AAC Schedule released...

On the official release it said it was because they didn’t want to make people choose between Labor Day weekend festivities and the game. But I’m sure it’s a little of both.

That Thursday before Labor Day is usually a heavy High School football day in Oklahoma as many districts bail on the Friday to give the kids a 4 day weekend. I know Union and BA have had that day off in the past (Union is actually giving them the Tuesday after Labor Day off this year instead of the Friday.) And is there a chance that this game will be on an over the air station vs just the ESPN+. No NFL game that night. I'm sure there will be a few games that night kicking off the college football season.

I don't mind it....but that game is one you only need to go to the 1st half for. TU should be up around 45 at halftime and we'll get to see Williams and Fuller and maybe Kittelman run some plays in the 2nd half.

And standby for the networks offering to pay $750,000 to $1 million for us to go to Alabama or Florida or wherever to be their spring game opponent.

Only if the players get 3/4 of that...
