The game was not nearly the blowout the SJSU beat writer indicated it was.

No, but it did look like an appropriately comfortable win against FCS competition. The game was never in doubt, at least one TD was left on the board (fumble on the goal line), 66% pass completion on offense and nearly 5 yards per rush. It wasn't lights out on either side of the ball for FBs against FCS, but it was more comfortable than TU over Central Arkansas last year.

Our defense should be able to lock them down. I really think our defense will come out of the first series with a lot of confidence . Northern Colorado, which was a 2 win FCS team last year, was able to rack up nearly 300 yards of offense. If we have any offense this year, we better post at least 400 yards. 28 point should win this game.
