Frustrating game to say the least.

Defense was the bright spot. They held their own against a big 10 team.

Offense struggled... now I know they played against a elite defense but we shot ourselves in the foot way too often. That’s much more concerning than just getting beat.

On to SJSU... this is a very different opponent and I’m hoping for a different result.

Yeah. If we suck on offense next week, the defense holds us in it, and lose, season over.

SJSU beat northern Colorado earlier 35-18. Northern Colorado is a pretty bad FCS team only winning 2 games last season.

This should be an opportunity for us to regroup and really see some improvements... but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Consistently negative. Just stop. Next weeks opponent is nothing like Michigan state

I agree 100% . It is kind of hard to judge the offense because they will shut out alot of people this year. I did think the play calling was a little bit better, and I did like seeing Stokes. We should know more next week.

So jealous of boise state's TRUE freshman QB. And their coaching.
Their offense did well, but Florida state wasn’t supposed to be a defensive powerhouse this season, and Boise’s defense had 31 hung on them by Kendall Briles’ new offense (Ie monty’s Offense)

For everyone that gashes Monty for his play calling:

Smith had 27 attempts (37 drop backs)

to only 13 rushing attempts.

It actually seemed like Monty changed up his traditional run-run-pass game plan because he knew how formidable MSU was against the run. I appreciate his change.

Can we wait to melt until our offense doesn’t produce against San Jose? That’s a more fair game to judge our offense.
I'm not going to get excited if we produce against San Jose. Their horrible and if we don't blow them out I'll be concerned. D should have their way with little sparty and the Offense should be able to get some good in game work in.
