Weird Credit Card Charge

Anyone else have a random charge from athletics show up on their cards? The one I use for season tix etc had a good sized charge appear on monday. My niece who I pay for tickets for her on her card also had one. Yesterday talking to a friend they also had one. Anyone else had this or know what it might be from?

Yea. I have one pending for like $73. Can’t dispute it until it’s out of pending.
Said it was too Amazon book store.

Football season tickets now auto-renew unless you opt out in advance. Could the charge be the first of this year’s monthly payment plan?

Although I saw nothing about opting out of auto renewal, which is absolutely not how it works in almost every case. You are required to opt in and I usually watch pretty closely for that and don't do it. I will simply call and have my credit card deny the charge and block TU as a company that can charge me.

This school is actively trying to drive me away and its working.

I also thought it was odd that opt-in was the default. I caught it in advance, opted out and just plan to renew year by year going forward. I’ll continue to attend as long as I’m on the right side of the grass.

I decided to go ahead and let them do it, I planned to give Tre Lamb a chance so I renewed my season tickets. But I will opt out for basketball if Konkol is still head coach. I don't like auto-renew. I think alumni and supporters need to let them know.
