USF Game Thread

Our western Tennessee friend has a spectacular voice!

Here's the question - how will you handle the annual home game vs. ole Memphis?

The audio quality came out much clearer than the original PA announcer. It was a touch loud, especially in quiet moments but I'm sure they can take care of it. Loved the "another turnover for USF, Tulsa ball" line, probably not AAC approved .

I would hire him.

Yes, the announcing was a tad bit loud and over the top, but only a few times. But, all the player names were correct (and some of them were difficult to pronounce for USF) and I too noticed the clarity. The announcing has sounded muffled for a long time. TU has needed a new announcer for both football and basketball for several year, IMHO.

He definitely added some energy to the game... Sunday afternoon games are such snoozers, so I welcomed his enthusiasm.

It's a loud building and the sound reverberates. You have to really focus on enunciation. But, I'd agree...the mic was a little "hot" yesterday. In defense of the sound crew, having a different person takes some adjustment time, due to the cadence and volume of a different voice.

I will say though, announcing in front of a good sized/loud crowd, is much more exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
