A recent article from the SMU Rivals site had the following info:
The most highly-touted of these recruits is 2016 four-star Santa Monica (Calif.) center Jayce Johnson.
Johnson maintains that he has the same interest in all of the schools that have offered him (a long list that includes Gonzaga, UNLV, North Carolina State, Oregon, Tulsa, Utah, Auburn and California).
Though he already has a long list of offers and new schools like Nebraska showing interest every day, Johnson is in no rush to make a college decision.
"I'm still learning new things about college and where I want to go. I'm just focusing on my club and getting myself ready for next year," Johnson said. "I'm going to take my time. I don't want to make a rash decision."
Johnson is not ready to narrow his list but he knows what is looking for in a college.
"Academics obviously and then basketball is the reason I got my offers and scholarships so the coaching staff and a good team-oriented atmosphere with no egos," Johnson said. "And then some good guards that I can play with at the next level."
