A lot of people skipped watching the SMU game. I talked to some people who are decent fans who had no idea we had won until I told them. That's what you get for assuming. Reminds me of when I left the Miracle in the Snow to go get hot chocalate at Wendy's.
Yeah, It took me a couple of hours to calm down after that one. I re-watched last two minutes about a dozen times, in particular the Milton vs. Birt stare down.
We haven't had that kind of attitude on the court since Coley, Heard, Kurtz, and Shelton. Somewhere Wojcik is talking about recruiting quality guys and Adrian Hernandez and Brandon Jackson have barely used TU gear sitting around.
Wait until Larry retires after this season and Jankovich is head coach...all those Larry kids are going to be jumping ship like the rats jumping from the TitanicSo you know, Shake Milton is a big time recruit from Owasso that wouldn't look at us and turned down OU and Indiana for that historic power, SMU. That's part of why we are enjoying that exchange so much. It's Jerryl Sasser situation on steroids (if you recall, we really wanted Sasser and he spurned us for our favorite coach Mike DeMent).
There's a dood on here that claims we are bad people for being critical of Shake, and tries to offer some histrionics about why he rightfully turned down TU. But to that I say: SCOREBOARD MF'er!
Any way you could get us a gif of that???Yeah, It took me a couple of hours to calm down after that one. I re-watched last two minutes about a dozen times, in particular the Milton vs. Birt stare down.

How I felt at the end of the SMU game:
Did you get that elevation on your jump?
Larry Brown had a lengthy talk with Shaq after the game. Brown is hard to impress so that was quite a complement.
How is UCONN an 8 pt favorite? SMU was only 10 at game tip...I can see 3 maybe 4, 8 is too much.
More confusing would be why all these insurance salesman call Tulsa, not Hartford, home. Hartford is the insurance capital of the world so we should do well thereThey're probably confused why UCONN is playing a bunch of insurance salesmen.
