UConn - SMU

So is our game with SMU next week going to be on CBS mainstream as well considering how it is going to determine the regular season champion and #1 seed for the AAC Tourney?

Refs already starting their garbage of letting football happen in the blocks but calling phantom touch fouls on the perimeter

Couple minutes behind on DVR, just starting.

UCONN has never defeated SMU??

I'm predicting the officials don't let pony play this one differently than husky.

Thanks for head's up, I was looking for it way up the dial.

Sadly, I'll at least settle for bad officiating that's consistent. I think Gaffney officiated the SMU game here.

Larry Brown got him on that summer team to get him several extra games.

Appears that Memphis/Uconn are nearly locks for the 5 and 6 seeds.

Memphis has to go to Uconn and Cinci to end the season. Without Nichols, I think they drop them both. Uconn winds up the 5 regardless of today.

Being the 2 wouldn't be the worst thing in the world with SMU and Uconn haviing to face off on the other side of the bracket if we don't take the 1 seed.

Considering Uconn currently has the 5 seed by half a game and a loss here would put them straight up tied with Memphis going into the final two games.

Being the #1 seed means you win the regular season title and you're probably a lock for the NCAA tourney in a multi-bid league. I want the 1.

Refs now swinging into Brown's pockets again and kissing his ass. 2 UCONN players standing straight up and Manuel jumps sideways into them from directly under the basket and a foul called on UCONN

Ben Moore just spent 6 seconds in the lane on SMUs last possession, got the ball, dribbled, and then passed it off. Umm, in any referee's clinic they will say that if a post man catches the ball in the lane and takes one or two dribbles, if they don't take a shot it is virtually always a 3-second call. Really poor officiating right now

GO TU!!!!

These announcers are pretty decent at their job.

And we haven't heard about BPI once!!

4-1 fouls in favor of SMU in 2nd half. Refs are absolutely letting SMU clutch and grab on outside like it's a fire sale.

Gonna come down to FTs.

Uconn has to stop settling for jumpers and go for some contact. Or at least grab an offensive board or two.

Hamilton is going to be a scary player to go against for a couple more years. Moreira just missed a jam. Key sequence is UCONN can take advantage. UCONN is standing around in defensive boards wondering who is going to chase it down.

I think a UConn win will give us the confidence to beat cincy since it will guarantee a championship co

I feel like us having captains really isn't necessary since our entire team likes to keep each other accountable. Swannegan or Juice would make the most sense to me if I had to choose since they're usually the guys that really like to direct the O / D on the court

Ya, I don't recall Tim or Scottie actually being "captains" officially, either...

Big E should be the captain because they all look up to him.
