I am really tired of not having something to look forward to with TU basketball. As someone who has high expectations from my intro to TU basketball in 1980 through 2003, the last two decades have been mostly waiting around and disappointment. Over and over and over. Basically it is two decades running of very little fun or enjoyment. I can't really enjoy mediocrity and that's all we have over and over and over.
It has really worn me out. I have no solutions nor any specific criticism of a player or a coach. Too beaten down to do that. The only good thing I can say is that my 84 year old mom seems to be enjoying going to games with me since my dad passed, so I probably won't give up my tickets for that one and only reason. Her expectations are not too high. She just likes getting out with her son. So I am going to try to lean into that while I can.
