Tulsa's defense showing major improvement -- story linked

In its first three games, Tulsa’s defense has shown extreme improvement in 2016. The Hurricane absolutely smothered North Carolina A&T last weekend, as they are playing at an entirely different level.

The problem is people only look at the final score, not how much you had given up when you pulled your starters. Starting D gave up ZERO points to A&T but read the article from Fresno about Tulsa's D and they talk about A&T having 21 points and x number of total yards. Final score doesn't always tell the truth.

One of their TD's was on a tipped ball that fell right into a waiting receiver's open hand who it wasn't meant for against our backup D.

If you took out the scrub minute scores that our defense gave up we would probably be top 60ish in the nation.
