Tulsa Uni's

I actually thought they looked flat on tv compared to the pregame pics.

But they are 1-0!

I liked the black unis, and the 'men in black' tag was already picked up by the Tulsa World.

All of the uniforms have a lot of detail that are hard to see unless you're close to. Gold pants are easiest to see details on. But they're all pretty sweet in their own ways.

When I first saw them I thought it was a joke. I wonder if these were some kind of throwback unis.
Yes. Steelers wore those back in the 30s or 40s.

Are there any pictures from when TU was the Tigers or Yellow Jackets back in the early days. We should go to a throw way way back uni one of these days

My 5 year old grandaughter is confused. Last game she was supposed to yell for us in the white uni's and now she wanted to know why we yell for the black uni's. Quit confusing the newest hurricane fans.;)
I had the same problem at the A&T game. Grandson came to the white out, and now thinks Tulsa is always the team in white. He rooted for the white team the whole time. ;)

The black unis violate my number one rule...

Always be recognizable on TV....

Geez, anyone looking across the room at a bar or flipping channels at home would never have realized that it was Tulsa on TV.

It's football... not barbie dress up for gods sakes..

As long as the metallic gold helmet with script Tulsa remains the base of all uniforms and our iconic "logo" I could really care less if they wear different colored helmet/jerseys/pants, etc., as long as it doesnt look like a clown show (Oregon using orange socks to look like ducks).

My only caveat would be that the players decide the designs and combinations and that recruits are informed of that. I have a problem with clothing companies and coaches deciding what is worn and when it will change. Don't ask me why, it just seems like something the seniors should decide.

If I won the lottery, the first thing I would do would be buy a set of light blue helmets with the war shield from the state flag on the side of it and give them to the school. Nothing else. Just the war shield as a logo. Maybe script Tulsa on the back near the neckline. Wear them once a year for a year or two, then make them practice helmets. Heck, just use the existing matte black elements and make the warshield in dark gray so it looks like it was etched into the helmet would be ba too.
