Talking about bowl hopes seems ludicrous, but I remember thje 2021 team was 3-6 and was looking bad in doing so. But not nearly as bad as this year. Still, that team finished 7-6. I wouldn't bet on it, but you truly never know.

Good point. No Navy, Memphis, or Tulane on the conference schedule was fortunate, and our only P5 opponent was OSU. The ASU loss foretold the season ahead. Self inflicted wounds lost this game, and was a omen of things to come.

Talking with “my person” today and they said the rumblings have gone “radio silent”. They are thinking that being competitive vs ECU did spare Wilson until the end of the season. Things their speculation based on what they aren’t hearing all of a sudden.
