6-foot-3 guard Corey Henderson Jr. signed with Tulsa last month, and since then, he's led Blinn College in scoring and has helped the Buccaneers to a 9-1 start. Plus, Henderson talks about what he'll bring to the TU squad next season.

Looks like a good match with Taplin.
And Atson / Korita as long as he can pass at with a similar consistency. I really think those two guys might end up as some of the best shooters we've ever had.

And lob it down to TK, Igbanu and Etou.

This staff recognized last year that our biggest need was shooters. Henderson, Atson and Korita seem to fill that need. Hopefully Birt will get the ball to stay down. Taplin has shown the ability to score, with good percentages and can run the show setting up teammates with very few turnovers. We'll be young next year but if we can add a couple of bigs with 1 being a rim protector and defensive specialist and 1 being a 5th year guy, another athletic G/wing, we should be good to go. I think Etou will give us a strong rebounder of which we haven't had in a few years. Even though I wish we had Edogi this year, another year to mature and improve should make him tough inside. Hopefully he can add some more moves to his repertoire. We really need to add at least 1 outstanding big to make this a solid team.
