What a great game Tulsa played. I look forward to the great days of old in the MVC when WSU and Tulsa were fierce rivals.
That 3 by Henderson that looked so good and was in and out could have resulted in a big upset.

The 80's were incredible to watch the rivalry. The most fun games were when Nolan was coaching against Smithson, although J.D.'s first two years were high quality as well. Wichita was still good under Eddie Fogler.
Great players, great crowds, and wild finishes. Even though the Shockers were down when Tulsa left the Valley in after 96, you had to figure they would be back. Tremendous move for everyone that they are back in the same conference.
