Except most everyone playing on defense right now is a Blankenship recruit. Edmiston and Hill would be the exceptions. I believe Reggie Robinson was a BB commit and stayed true (I could be wrong), but he was definitely in that transition class that was mostly BB guys and filled in with Monty's few. The same way Kragthorpe came in and immediately changed the culture with Burns' guys and won, Monty won with a lot of BB guys last year and now is starting to work in his own. Much of what went wrong the last 2 yrs of BB's tenure was scheme related. (Remember, Bob Stoops won a national championship with almost all John Blake guys contributing at key spots).

I was referring mostly to the corners, Hill and Robinson. Both of whom were recruited by Monty's staff. Robinson was definitely not a Blankenship recruit. Bit of an upgrade from Austin McDaniel and Darrell Williams.

Robinson, Wadley, C Williams, and Cannon were all Monty's recruits.

Ok. Like I said that overlap class is weird as TU promised to honor all of the offers BB's staff made. I couldn't remember exactly who committed when and to whom. I would agree that the quality we have at CB right now allows Young/Norwood to do so many more things on defense and our run defense has been a ton better because. The LBs can play a step or 2 closer to the LOS.
