Umm, the competition is not as good as in the SEC? SEC is a terrible overall basketball conference. It's not like they are running 6+ teams out of their 14 into the dance every year. Outside of KY and FLA, the AAC would match well with the rest of the AAC and with Florida having a new HC, FLA might not be back in that mix for a bit. GaTech is a perennial 10th place team in the ACC now. His prospects of getting to the NCAA tournament are better with Tulsa than any of those other 4 teams, at least right now. Who knows where Florida will be in 2-3 years under White, but I'm not sure Donovan left a full cupboard there.
