I've been going through our list of Hot List recruits over the past couple of weeks, trying to weed out guys that either eliminated Tulsa from consideration, or TU dropped off of them. I thought I'd post a list of those kids in case any of you were wondering about some of them. Some of them could certainly pop back on the radar down the road if circumstances change:

DL Desmond Branch at Trinity Valley - He blew up and TU was out of it as of two weeks ago. Branch signed with Georgia Tech earlier this week.

DL Garrett McBroom at NEO - Also blew up and narrowed his choices to Washington State and Purdue before signing with WSU earlier this week.

DB Bryce Banks at Columbia (MO) Rock Bridge - He was originally committed to Missouri and then opened it back up, and TU was in the thick of it. However, he appeared focused on Illinois and NC State. Has since committed to NC State.

WR Zach Farrar at Southlake (TX) Carroll - Appears to be leaning toward Oklahoma State. Has a ton of offers and isn't really showing TU much love at the moment.

We removed the following from the Hot List as Tulsa appears to have quit showing much interest...

DT Zach Befort of Butler CC
RB Jeremy Lewis of Lone Grove HS
RB Quan Hogan of Norman North HS
DB Max Wariboko of OKC Casady HS
DB Dreyvon Christon of Putnam City HS
DB Kenan Ivy of Lancaster HS
DB Innis Gaines of West Brook HS
WR Tariq Bitson of Booker T. Washington HS
DT Lorenzo Neal of St. Thomas HS
DB Eric Cuffee of Waco HS
DT Joe Wallace of Dallas Skyline HS
DT Anthony Watts of Yates HS
LB Calvin Bundage of Edmond Santa Fe
DB Caesar Williams of South Grand Prairie HS
