I meant to post this last week but better late than never. :D

Below is info I compiled from the evaluation period last weekend...

Haith was in the crowd Texas Titans vs. Woodz Elite

From Rivals.com: In the match-up between the Texas Titans and Woodz Elite out of Arkansas, it was all the schools you would expect in attendance. Buzz Williams, Shaka Smart, Kelvin Sampson and Scott Drew were all supporting their in-state schools along with Eric Musselman supporting his in-state team. Bruce Pearl and Frank Haith were also courtside. Cade Cunningham, Greg Brown and Mike Miles were all impressive for Texas Titans. Jaylin Williams was the standout performer for Woodz Elite along with Oklahoma State commit Devonte Davis.

Greg Brown is a 5-star from Austin (TX) Vandegrift, #6 nationally, with 16 offers.

Mike Miles is a 3-star from Lancaster (TX), #144 nationally with 6 offers.

Haith was mainly there to watch Jaylin Williams, #100 nationally, #18 power forward, offers from Tulsa, TCU, OSU, Arkansas. 6-9, 210 lb. 4-star from Fort Smith Northside

Rivals.com analyst Dan McDonald: "Post players are always in demand and hard to find. For that reason, look for Jaylin Williams out of Arkansas to see his recruitment pick up quite a bit. The 6-foot-9 big man fights inside on the boards, finishes well, and he’s competent with the ball in his hands on the perimeter. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see all the high-major programs in the Midwest and the South involved in his recruitment."

McDonald also gave him the “Most Under the Radar” Award, saying: "Playing for Woodz Elite, Williams needs to be on high-major recruiting boards all over the SEC, Big 12 and Big Ten. The 6-foot-9 post player out of Arkansas does a great job of playing within himself. He’s tough on the boards, will block shots, and can finish well inside. He’s not going to do a ton of damage from the perimeter yet, but he’s comfortable with the ball in his hands out there. He has a lot of upside."

Tulsa saw an up-and-coming talent on KC Run GMC squad

From Eric Bossi: On Sunday, a few teams from the 15 and under division had an opportunity to play on the main floors of the event. Playing with a pretty good looking KC Run GMC 15U squad, Dick made a strong impression. He's already got good size and he showed that he's a tremendous north/south athlete with a pair of emphatic jams. He can put the ball on the floor for pull-ups and has a good looking stroke that should allow him to develop into a dangerous three-point shooter.

Bryce Thompson impressive once again

Eric Bossi on Bryce Thompson: One of the toughest things for any player to do is look in the mirror and be honest about which areas of your game need to be addressed. Also as important is taking input from others looking to help you and going to work. That's exactly what Thompson does.

Each time a question comes up about his game, he addresses it. First he went to work on adding strength. Then he fixed the release point on his jumper and now he's showing elusiveness off the dribble. He's a solid prospect who continues to improve.

His home state schools Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tulsa are living with him at this point. Texas threw their hat into the ring over the weekend, Kansas is right there and Tennessee is another likely to get more involved in the near future.

Coaches not fans of new eval periods

From Rivals.com analyst Corey Evans: If I had a dime for every time a college coach complained about the newly implemented evaluation periods for this spring and summer months, well, I’d be a rich man. Just one three-day period this spring, a sporadic set of days in June and a similar allotment in July makes a clean evaluation period for coaches nearly impossible. Something must change. The recent investigation into college basketball does not look good, but the rules made in an attempt to clean up travel ball are already not working. Hopefully, this is a one-time deal because mistakes are going to be made and the transfer market will be that much more crowded in the years ahead.

Throwing this in for fun…LeBron James Jr.

Dan McDonald: It’s not often that a 15-under game draws the biggest crowds at an event with top 17-under teams playing at the same time. But that’s what happens when Bronny James takes the court and LeBron James comes to support him with Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem by his side. James is playing up a year as he’s just finishing the 8th grade, but he had a pretty good weekend in my limited viewings. He’s a shot-maker and he can play both guard spots. I can’t even imagine what the crowds will look like two or three years from now when he’s playing in the older divisions.
