This year has had a very 2009 vibe to it. Down to the two losses in Las Vegas.

That team started 9-1 including 6 wins by 20+ and beating the snot out of an OSU team that was effectively #26 in the AP poll. I don’t really see the parallels.

Two seniors who carry us when they’re in the game along with one contributing junior.

Both teams being overhyped preseason.

Both teams going to Vegas and losing soundly twice.
